Is That Really Me?

The Short Answer

One list decides it

If an account is not on my official links page, it is not me. Not a backup, not a second page, not a new account I forgot to mention. Somebody else is running it.

That page has every platform I’m on and the exact handle for each, and I keep it up to date. The rest of this page explains where the confusion comes from and what to do when you spot a copy.

Where the Confusion Comes From

Seven accounts, five handles

My handles are not the same everywhere, and three of them are only a letter or two apart: alexandramarianna, aleximarianna and alexmarianna. On top of that, alexmarianna on Instagram belongs to somebody else. So a name that looks almost right is not proof of anything.

Don’t type a handle from memory. Open the links page and click through from there.

What to Look For

Four things that are not me

1. My Instagram name with a dot or a number

@alexandra.marianna, @alexandramarianna1 and @alexandramarianna2 are not mine. My Instagram is @alexandramarianna, exactly that, with nothing added.

2. A YouTube channel under my name

I don’t have a YouTube account on my list, so any channel using my name, including @alexandramarianna8299, is not run by me.

3. @alexmarianna on Instagram

This one is not a fake. It is a different person’s own account, and they have nothing to do with me. alexmarianna happens to be my handle on TikTok and Link.me, which is why people mix us up. Please don’t message them looking for me.

4. Anything that calls itself my backup

If an account says it is my backup, my private page or my new account and it isn’t on the links page, it isn’t me.

One more name that comes up: Marianna Alexandre, a Brazilian actress and singer, is a different person. I’ve written more about all of this in Same Name, Different People.

If You Find One

What to do about a copy

  • Report it as impersonation through the platform’s own reporting menu, and link this site or my official statement if the form asks for proof.
  • Don’t argue with it in the comments. Engagement only puts it in front of more people.
  • Never send money, card details or a login to an account that contacted you claiming to be me.
  • Leave the person at @alexmarianna on Instagram alone. They are not impersonating anyone.

What has been written about me

Playboy Netherlands published an article in April 2024 about LexiWorld, an AI companion project. That is their reporting, not mine, and this site doesn’t repeat its figures.

Pages elsewhere that list an age, a birthday or a birthplace for me did not get them from this site. The facts I stand behind are on the about page and the timeline.
